The feeling of first understanding a text, coupled with the discovery of new ways to interpret a text through discussion and writing is incomparable. I've taken and many classes, including critical theory, graduate level humanities courses relating to philosophical anthropology, modernist literature, Shakespeare, American Lit, linguistics, and creative writing. I've volunteered both locally and abroad teaching aspects of English to native-speakers and ESL/EFL learners of all ages.

My wife and I are instilling a love of reading in our 2 children, as that is something that is infinitely rewarding and entertaining.
