Experience

I have been a professor of English for 22 years, but I can explain/teach writing and literature to both teens and adults. I won the Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award at IUS in 2004, beating out all the other professors. I have helped students craft essays into state and national contest winners. I do not, however, hold a teaching certificate because I primarily taught freshman through graduate English and business writing.

Hobbies

I am now a freelance ghostwriter and editor. I've written six books that have hit number one on the International Best Seller List but you'd never know it because I am a GHOST writer. For fun, I like reading contemporary literature and YA fantasy books, cartoons, video games (yes!) and snuggling with my two dogs, Preston )a Bichon Frise) and Molly (a Shih Tzu). I download Harvard's required reading lists for their different literature doctoral exams, then post them on my bulletin boards and make a goal to read four of these a month or more (if I'm not too busy writing). I would love to help turn writing into a joy for you instead of a have-to. I have taken writers with disabilities from ADHD to dyslexia and helped them become writers who have published their own memoirs!! Hope to work with you soon.
