I'm a tutor who is based out of Louisville, Kentucky, where I enjoy learning about history, sailing, and horseback riding when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of North Florida, as well as my master's degree in political science and government from the University of Louisville. While obtaining my master's degree, I focused primarily on European political history, specifically on the issues of Scottish nationalism and British politics. I'm also participating in a doctoral program in the humanities, but am currently on a leave of absence. I'm deeply passionate about politics and history, as my educational background may indicate. I also very much love working with students in these subjects. My teaching philosophy is based on first getting students interested in the subject matter. I do that by providing different types of lessons and by teaching all of the information in an engaging way. When I'm able to, I love to connect the material to an interest of the student's. This allows for the fastest and easiest improvements in the subject. I'd love to work with you and help you reach all of your academic goals in the subjects of political science, government, and history.
