I was a tutor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, as well as a Teaching Assistant for children with special needs. I am very passionate, enthusiastic, and hard working, and I have worked extensively with children ages 1-13 from different backgrounds in a wide range of contexts. I have experience working 1:1 with children with behavioral and emotional struggles as a Teacher Counselor at Youth Villages, as well as children with autism and ADD/ADHD. I took an Educational Psychology course in college, as well as a Child Development course. I have taken several music and music theory courses, and I have studied the flute for 14 years.
