Experience
I graduated from UK with a degree in Community Communications and Leadership Development with minors in Biology and Chemistry. I went to KCD from 1st grade through graduation and originally attended Lake Forest College, a small liberal arts school north of Chicago, for 3 years before transferring. I have always been a very successful student, graduating with honors and taking several AP classes without scoring below a 4. I actively tutored throughout my college career. While well versed in many subjects, I choose to tutor primarily math and science because I have found that they are subjects that students commonly struggle with. My focus is on first identifying each student's weak spots and and making sure they have a firm foundation in order to progress in the subject. I like to create strategies for students to use in solving specific problems or large concepts. I believe I am tough but fair and expect my students to give me their full effort and attention during sessions. I promise I will give them mine in order to help them succeed. Hobbies
I enjoy finding new and interesting places/activities in Louisville, especially the Crescent Hill neighborhood. I am a diehard UK sports fan, but also enjoy visiting museums and attending artistic performances. My favorite thing to do is take a walk with my dog on a pretty day.
